City Breaks and Open Spaces in the UK and abroad

If you’re looking for that quick escape, now is the best time to visit normally busy cities when they are at their quietest. No queues for museums and attractions, space to walk freely and explore makes for the perfect relaxing and pleasant holiday experience. Read more about some of the best the UK and abroad has to offer from the range of hotels our portfolio has to offer.

Eurostar now offers direct services between London and Amsterdam, making the city the perfect location for a quick getaway.  A fantastic place to stay is Hotel De L’Europe in Amsterdam, located three minutes from the city centre and featuring re-designed public areas, event spaces and a brand new terrace overlooking the banks of the River Amstel, a perfect spot for an evening aperitif.

Another city to explore right now is Florence and Ru&Co are pleased to now have the Brunelleschi Hotel in our portfolio.  This gorgeous property is housed in what was a Byzantine church and a neighbouring brick tower that was built in 573 AC and what was a water tower and a women’s prison in centuries gone by.  The hotel is slap bang in the middle of the city with The Duomo literally 50 metres away and with the central square Piazza di Republicca on it’s doorstep.
